It is an invitation for you to come to a real primary forest of Taman Negara. It's well known as the oldest tropical rainforest in the world which is estimated to be more then 130 million tears old. In fact it's older than the Amazon forest and it's still the best place to really experience the rainforest where over 240 species of trees grow in a single hectre!! SOMETHING SPECIAL? Yes! Taman Negara is a real,virgin forest..a primary rainforest. Some other recreation jungles or rimba park also try to offer an eco-tourism based activities,but most of that is a secondary forest. So,the forest there is not as dense as Taman Negara's forest. CAN WE SEE ANIMALS? As a proctected forest,there are many species of animals found here including elephant,tiger,tapir,sumatran rhinoceros...but,sighting of these species are rare due to the density of vegetation and shy nature of these animals roaming freely in the forest.
